Churchill Athletic Patrons (CAP)
was formed in the early spring of
2001 as an athletic booster club.
Its mission is to assist in
promoting and enhancing the
Churchill Athletic Program, to
provide scholarship opportunities,
and to develop alumni relations.
CAP
is a nonprofit organization
financially supported through
membership dues and fundraising.
Current fundraising includes an
annual golf outing, a commemorative
brick program, sale of Churchill
Charger stadium seats and an annual
Hall of Fame induction dinner.
CAP
has contributed over $90,000 to the
Churchill Athletic Program and its
athletes in the last five years. So
far, 57 scholarships have been
provided to seniors who have
completed at least two seasons of
athletics while attending Churchill
High School. Congratulations to the
seven CAP Scholarship recipients,
each receiving $1,000 towards their
future education. They were honored
at the CHS Honors Night back in May
2009 and at the annual CAP Golf
Outing on June 12, 2009. This
years winners are: Jessica McClain,
Jessica Stroud, Mark Waterbury, Josh
Andaloro, Hannah Otto, Christine
Luneak and Ara Markarian. Good luck
to them in the future.
CAP
also funds all Scholar Athlete
Awards and contributes to athletic
banquets for every single sport at
CHS. Other financial support to the
athletic program includes new floor
mats for competitions and practice,
league banners for the gym, an ice
machine for the athletic trainer,
warm-ups, TV/VCR for coaches’ use,
Hall of Fame sign, weight room
program and contributions to the
athletic utility vehicle, concession
stand awning, football field emblem
and sound system for athletic
events.
CAP
is solely overseen by volunteers,
and its support of educational
athletics would not be possible
without the commitment of many
dedicated parents and the Churchill
Athletic Administrator. My sincere
hope is that you will consider
getting involved with this
worthwhile organization. Meetings
are held on the second Monday of
each month in the CHS cafeteria at
7:00 p.m. Please come and see how

Membership in CAP is $15.00 per
family or a lifetime membership for
$100. You can join CAP by filling
out and returning the red envelope
in the packet sent out in the
beginning of the year or pay with a
credit card through this website by
clicking on our
Join CAP page. We thank

This year, every lifetime membership
purchased prior to September 15,
2010 will be entered into a drawing
for a free one year Churchill
Athletic Pass.
